This Website was made not only as a way to promote my music but also to fulfill the requirements for a project called a senior capstone that you must complete in your last year of high school in my school district. In addition to creating the page i want to use this are to reflect on my time as a musician and what it has taught me. 

         The Main thing I have taken away from my time as a musician is that in a world where people are all to harsh to eachother in the arts there is something about original music that makes you feel supported. Every "like" on your song, every download, every comment or even criticism makes you feel like you're walking on air. You feel like this because these are real people in the world and they are looking at and liking or disliking something you made. Something you poured your heart into matters and that is the feeling i've got from being a musician. But not only are listeners and musicians supportive online but they ae in real life too. I can't even count all the friends and relationships i have made through my music and i will never forget them for the rest of my life. The feeling that i'm somebody that plays music and people know that and they care is unmatched by anything else thus far in my life.

          Another important thing my music and songwriting has taught me is persistence. I Used to give up so easy. But music isn't like that. I cant give up. I enjoy it too much and i have people who enjoy it with me. Music taught me that when im stuck between a rock and a hard place sometimes the solution is just a strum away and that has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life.

          So if i was to answer the question "Logan, what does music mean to you?" the simple answer is everything cause when you take away everything i have i'll still have music, and i'll never stop singing as long as i live.
